Welcome to the Ohio Concealed Carry Training Center located in Mansfield, Ohio. O.C.C.T.C. is a training facility designed to enable Ohio residents to comply with the new Ohio State Concealed Carry Law. Now that Governor Taft has signed House Bill HB-12, Ohio has joined 45 other states to approve a concealed firearms carry law.

Many citizens would like to be better prepared to handle the many violent encounters that are present in today's society. This new law enables ordinary citizens to be trained to safely handle, carry, and, if necessary, use a handgun as defense against criminal acts.

Providing the required training is the job of O.C.C.T.C. Our instructors are law enforcement and NRA certified. Our training consists of ten hours in the classroom, followed by two hours of live-firing instruction.

In order to obtain a state concealed carry permit the person must first successfully complete a sanctioned 12-hour course. Upon course completion, they then apply at their local sheriff's department for fingerprinting and a background investigation. The permit is then issued by that sheriff's department.
